Bhutan Dev Fest International Hackathon: Day 2 Focuses on Hacking, Mentorship, and Prototyping, Featuring a Restorative Sound Therapy Session

Paro, Bhutan – June 26, 2025 – Day 2 of the Bhutan Dev Fest International Hackathon, held at the Dungkar Dzong in Panbisa, Paro, continued with an intense focus on project development, mentorship, and the refinement of prototypes.

The day commenced with breakfast and a brief morning announcement outlining the day's agenda. Hacking sessions resumed promptly, allowing teams to continue building upon their ideas. A crucial part of the morning was the introduction of mentors and their mapping for availability, with seven mentors dedicated for the two days of hacking.

A coffee break provided a brief respite before hacking continued, with tech mentors actively rotating among teams to provide guidance and support. Lunch offered a break from the intensive development work.

The afternoon included a briefing on the judging criteria and other important announcements delivered by the facilitator. Hacking continued through the afternoon , interspersed with another coffee break.

A unique "Brain Break" session in the late afternoon incorporated a mindfulness session, specifically sound therapy led by Yoga Yangchen, offering participants a chance to re-center and de-stress. Following dinner , teams resumed hacking, with a strong emphasis on continuing to develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), testing NDI integrations, and polishing their prototypes.

Day 2 underscored the collaborative spirit of the hackathon, as teams leveraged expert mentorship and dedicated extended hours to refine their innovative solutions for the challenges ahead.
